HOW IT WORKS:
1. Pick a key to start playing the track.
2. Tap Chords to see what chords are being played (rhythm)
3. Tap Scales to see the scale charts for that key (lead)

PRACTICE TIPS:
Learn the chord progression for each track, and then jump over to practicing scales. Guess what? There are only 5 shapes of the pentatonic scale to memorize! Once you know them up and down, learn where they start for each key. Soon, youll be able to solo over 99% of the music out there! Gain more versatility by playing in different modes (major/minor/blues major/blues minor) too.

WHAT IS THE PENTATONIC SCALE?
It simply means 5-note scale. It is widely used in virtually every style of music, and is one of the most important scales a guitarist can learn. There are 5 shapes, or finger patterns, to memorize. These never change; only the starting position changes for each key. Once you learn one key, the rest will come easy!

TIPS FOR THE SCALE CHARTS:
- Black dots are regular notes.
- Red dots are root notes. These are notes of the key you are in.
- Blue dots are passing notes. Including these notes puts you in a Blues mode.

This App is pretty good for learning how to improvise and getting faster in switching between different notes. Actually its better for beginners, but still its worth the money. If you look for a good App that teaches you different Blues notes, this one here is it.

When your sparring-partner is not available take this one. Not omly for beginners it helps you to get a better player! Good Idea. But more tracks PLEASE!

Great app, sounds great through practice Pa, but very limited to 1 style and progression. Needs more blues styles otherwise wonderful. The ability to change the tempo would also be a great aid.

Needs more back tracks! Maybe a way to speed up or slow down the tempo.

Great for learning to transition between scale positions in different keys! I use it for practice and to help me make up new licks!

Not at all a bad place to start for beginners getting into blues lead riffing. Unadjustable, pedestrian 12-bar loops DO get boring quickly, though.

Some bad moments

Quite proper.. but the help function crashed the software.. Restart of IPhone necessary..

Great for jamming but it needs a tempo dial and about a thousand more tracks!

Great app! I use it to practice leads in different keys regularly. Would love to see examples of some licks that I could incorporate. Nevertheless, I use this app!!

Ive been playing for years but just havent been able to put it together until now. This app gives you just what you need, the chords, the scales and the backing tracks to put it all together. Learn all the scales and the corresponding chords and put them to use improvising all over the neck. If you want to learn to play the blues or just want to solo all over the neck go no further this is the app.

Just what I was looking for. Dont wait. Just spend the two bucks. Its a no brainer.

Ive never wrote a review but this app is worth the time. This an amazing tool for any guitar player. Its perfect for playing with an unplugged electric.
